Demo 28


Still working on a "bigger demo" in progress to fully flesh out the 2nd/3rd areas, but I have some more progress here:

  • added start to looping themes for overworld/town
  • finally connected dungeon 2 (Frog Pond) to the overworld
  • removed gnome miniboss from dungeon 2 that's currently unbeatable (but it was moved to a secret place in the 2nd area)
  • created mock for 3rd area with new sage's hut and dungeon (but neither have any real content atm, just setting things up)
  • made unique sprite for one way door in the well to differentiate from the red key doors
  • fixed a bug where players obtained 2 razor blades with 1 attack instead of a razor blade with 2 attack
  • fixed a bug where spamming interact on a boss NPC restarted battle multiple times
  • made a beta sprite for a new dungeon 3 enemy (red hare), which I've shared below

I still have a lot left to do before I'm happy calling it another "finished big demo", but it's nice to make steady progress on the game for a bit again.
